I was a little apprehensive about the trip. Who on earth goes trekking in Mongolia in the middle of winter! Those hunting for great photos, of course.
However, Apratim ensured we were fully prepared, provided lots of advice about clothing and gear, and was always available for a chat.
He had the most amazing team of cooks, interpreters, drivers, and support staff; we carried generators and had satellite internet coverage. We lacked for nothing.
And the trip was fabulous. What a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The sort of trip that lets you know you are truly living as richly and fully as possible, learning about the world we share, and wanting more.  And of course, I got some great images.
